Generally, orders are processed within 1 business day; and shipped within 2 to 3 business days from the time the order was placed. Made-to-order items take 7 to 14 business days to ship from the date of order. Please note that International Parcel Services, regardless of the shipping method can take anywhere from 5 days to 8 weeks from shipping date to delivery (depending on custom clearance timeframe), even when the merchandise was processed and shipped within 1-3 days from the time of order.

We offer the following Shipping options:

USA: FREE using USPS Economy Class Parcel (5-8 days) to anywhere in the U.S for orders above $50: other shipping options available at checkout.

Canada: $15 flat rate using Standard First Class International Parcel for orders less than $200; other shipping options available at checkout.

Canada: Free USPS First Class International Parcel for orders over $200; other shipping options available at checkout.

To all other countries: $15.00 (Economy) First Class International Parcel service (other rates available (Super Express: (1-5 business days excluding shipping time and custom clearance); Priority mail Express International (3-5 business days excluding shipping time and custom clearance); other shipping options available at checkout.

IMPORTANT: 

 Mou Aér Beauty shall not be held liable for items that are lost or stolen when delivered to the mailing address specified during the shipping process.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at  Customerservice@mouaerbeauty.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you initially ordered, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Some products are eligible for Warranty (e.g. Jewelry). See footnote of the product.

When an item is broken, we will repair or replace it if it is within its warranty period, provided a valid authenticity card and proof of purchase such as receipt or invoice is presented. We will have to ask you to send us a documentation of the item to determine if it needs to be repaired. After it has been determined that it can be repaired, we will send you a return shipping envelop and label for free so you can send the broken item back to us for repair. If we deem the item is irrepairable, we will send the replacement item. If the item of replacement is not available, we will offer you options of similar items.

We do not refund payment for warranty beyond the return period. (Pls read return policy)

Our Jewelry Pieces

At Intricata Jewels, jewelry pieces are either made with 14K to 18K Gold Vermeil/Rhodium Vermeil, or Gold-plated silver. Vermeil is a technique of high-quality gold plating onto 925 sterling silver originally developed in France. Vermeil jewelry plating is usually 2 to 5 times thicker than regular plating. Whether gold-plated, vermeil or solid gold, all our pieces are carefully fabricated to ensure long lasting wear and luster.

General care

To maintain the beauty and life of your Intricata jewelry, whether it’s gold-plated, filled, vermeil or solid gold, always avoid salt water, chlorine (swimming pools, jacuzzis) and all heavy detergents and cleaning agents. These harsh chemicals can damage all types of jewelry. Remember  to remove your pieces before coming into contact with these substances.

Prolonged exposure with moisture will gradually dull its shine. Avoid contact with water, alcohol, lotions, perfumes, hairspray or any liquid as much as you can. Protect jewelry from sharp blows, extreme temperatures, sunlight and rough or hard surfaces. To keep your piece looking its best, gently clean with a damp soft cotton cloth after every wear. Do not use abrasive jewelry cleaners or polishing cloths or pads on plated pieces. 

Cleaning Gemstones

Gemstones are durable, yet they do need some care to maintain their luster. Follow these general guidelines, and yours will look brand new for years to come.

You can clean transparent gemstones simply by soaking them in water with a touch of soap. Use a soft toothbrush to scrub the stone.

Never use an ultrasonic cleaner or ammonia for cleaning porous gemstones like lapis, turquoise, malachite, opal, or onyx. They should be gently wiped clean with a moist cloth. These gemstones will absorb chemicals, like soap, which can build up inside the stone and discolor it.

Organic gems like pearls, coral, and amber should only be wiped clean and dry with a moist cloth. Due to their organic nature, these gems are both soft and porous, so as a general rule avoid bathing with them. Be careful with hairspray, cosmetics, and perfume. The chemicals in those products can permanently damage organic gems (especially pearls) over time.

14k/18K Gold Vermeil 

14K/18K (or 14/18ct) Gold Vermeil is a higher-quality form of real gold plating in which a thick layer of .5 to 2.5 microns is coated upon genuine 925 sterling silver. 18K Gold Vermeil jewelry is hypoallergenic and highly durable, allowing for daily wear and tear.

Rhodium Plated

Rhodium is one of the costliest and extremely rare metals. It is silvery-white, hard, and corrosion-resistant. As it reflects up to 80 percent of light, Rhodium Vermeil is used to give jewelry its shine and luster. It is hypoallergenic and highly durable, crafted in the process to endure corrosion and sustain through daily wear.

Storage

 Store jewelry separately in an airtight bag or box container. Remove before going to sleep or before engaging in strenuous activities that require rubbing your jewelries to rough surfaces.
